Storm Coordination Message #1 – Tuesday December 10th, 2013 Snow Event

Hello to all..

..Plowable Snowfall for Portions of Southern New England particularly along and South of the Massachusetts Turnpike..
..A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Northern Connecticut, Rhode Island and Southeast Massachusetts including Cape Cod and the Islands through 5 PM This Evening. Total snowfall of 2-4″ of snow are expected with isolated higher amounts of 4-6″ possible in portions of South Coastal Massachusetts/Rhode Island and Cape Cod and the Islands..
..Along and north of the Mass. Pike 1-2″ of snow is expected with an Inch or less near the New Hampshire/Massachusetts border and into Southern New Hampshire..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation will monitor the storm looking for snowfall reports from around the region during the day and evening hours. This will likely be the only coordination message issued for today’s storm unless a significant upgrade to the situation occurs.
