..Storm System will bring a period of freezing rain affecting travel to interior Southern New England before changing to a plain rain that could be heavy at times resulting in minor urban and poor drainage flooding with amounts of .75-1.5″ of rain expected. Wind Gusts up to 40 MPH are possible along Southeast Coastal New England as well..
..A Freezing Rain Advisory is now in effect through Noon today for Northwest Rhode Island, Northern Connecticut and interior Massachusetts from Western Norfolk and Central Middlesex Counties of Massachusetts north and west through Western Massachusetts. The Freezing Rain Advisory also includes Southern New Hampshire in the NWS Gray Maine Coverage Area..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation will monitor the freezing rain this morning and the change over to rain heavy at times during the day today with potential minor urban and poor drainage flooding issues and any strong wind gusts along the Southeast New England coast. This will be the only coordination message on this storm system unless a significant upgrade to the situation occurs.
