Storm Coordination Message #1 – Late Saturday Night 11/18/17-Sunday Evening 11/19/17 Strong to Damaging Wind/Heavy Raifall Potential

..Strong storm system will bring a period of heavy rainfall with the potential of urban and poor drainage flooding and two period of strong to damaging winds, one round with and ahead of the heavy rainfall and a possible fine line of strong thunderstorms and then behind the storm system as it intensifies in Northern New England..
..A High Wind Warning is in effect from 1 to 10 AM Sunday for sustained winds of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 55-60 MPH for all of South Coastal Massachusetts and Rhode Island including Cape Cod and the Islands. These winds will be capable of isolated to scattered pockets of tree and wire damage and isolated to scattered power outages..
..A Wind Advisory is in effect from 11 PM Saturday Night through 10 PM Sunday Night for sustained winds of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 50-55 MPH for Northern-Central Bristol, North-Central Plymouth Counties of Massachusetts and Bristol, Kent and Southeast Providence Counties. These winds will be capable of isolated to scattered pockets of tree and wire damage and isolated power outages..
..A Wind Advisory is in effect from Noon to 10 PM Sunday for the remainder of the NWS Taunton Coverage area for sustained winds of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH. These winds will be capable of isolated pockets of tree and wire damage and isolated power outages..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation will monitor for any heavy rainfall and urban/poor drainage flooding issues overnight and the strong to damaging wind potential overnight through Sunday Evening. This will be the only coordination message on this system unless a significant upgrade to the situation occurs.
