..Strong storm system to bring icing conditions in northern and western parts of the coverage area, heavy rainfall to much of the coverage area and a period of strong to damaging wind gusts across Southeast New England. There will also be areas of dense fog overnight into Tuesday Morning..
..A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through 9 AM Tuesday for Franklin, Western Hampshire, Northern Worcester, North-Central Middlesex and Western Essex Counties of Massachusetts for a trace to one-tenth of an inch of ice resulting in slippery travel conditions..
..A Wind Advisory is in effect from 11 AM-7 PM ET Tuesday for Suffolk, Norfolk, Bristol and Plymouth Counties, Cape Cod and the Islands and all of Rhode Island except for Northwest Rhode Island for sustained winds of 15-30 MPH with gusts up to 40-50 MPH. These winds will cause isolated pockets of tree and wire damage and isolated power outages..
..A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect through 9 AM Tuesday for Windham County Connecticut, Western Franklin, Western Hampshire, Western Hampden, Worcester, Northern Middlesex Counties of Massachusetts and Northwest Providence County Rhode Island for reduced visibilities..
..A Flood Watch is in effect for Tuesday Morning into Tuesday Afternoon for the Millers River at Athol due to an ice jam and any flooding associated with the ice jam based on heavy rainfall or dependencies on the ice jam and how it affects the river flow up and downstream of the ice jam..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation will monitor the light icing, strong wind and heavy rainfall and urban and poor drainage flood potential for the region. This will likely be the only coordination message on this system unless a significant upgrade to the situation occurs.
