..A Winter Storm Warning is now in effect from 9 PM Monday Evening through Tuesday Night for Southern New Hampshire for 6-12 inches of snow in valley locations and 12-18 inches of snow in higher terrain locations..
..A Winter Storm Warning is now in effect from 9 PM Monday Evening through 8 PM Tuesday Evening for Franklin, Western Hampshire, Northern Worcester and Northern Middlesex Counties of Massachusetts for 10-14 inches of snow and a trace of ice..
..A Winter Storm Warning is now in effect from 9 PM Monday Evening through 8 PM Tuesday Evening for Central Middlesex, Western Essex, Western Hampden, Eastern Hampshire and Southern Worcester counties of Massachusetts for 6-10 inches of snow and a trace to one-tenth inch of ice..

..Areas outside of the Winter Storm Warning/Advisory areas will likely get 2 inches or less of snow before a changeover to rain with 1-2″ of rain likely..
..Strong winds along South Coastal Massachusetts and Cape Cod and the Islands possibly extending into East Coastal Massachusetts remain possible and is still being monitored. Astronomical tides will be low so just minor coastal flooding/splashover particularly in areas exposed by prior storms..
..SKYWARN Activation with Ops at NWS Taunton remain likely Tuesday Morning through early evening..

Models are in agreement on another winter storm impacting the region Monday Night into Tuesday Night. The headlines reflect the current thinking and confidence is building on the scenrio. Snow is expected to start after 9 PM this evening from southwest to northeast and become heavy at times overnight into the Tuesday Morning commute with the Tuesday Morning commute being significantly impacted. Snow will mix with sleet, freezing rain and rain, in the Winter Weather Advisory area and the southern end of the Winter Storm Warning area but across areas north of the Mass. Pike and west of I-495, precipitation is expected to be all snow or snow and sleet/freezing rain. The key areas of uncertainty will be over the Metro Boston area concerning snowfall amounts and the timing of the mixture/changeover in precipitation over southern portions of the Winter Storm Warning/Winter Weather Advisory areas as that will impact snowfall amounts.

SKYWARN Activation with Ops at NWS Taunton are likely starting Tuesday Morning lasting through early Tuesday evening. Another coordination message will be sent by 1030 PM Monday Evening.
