..Severe Thunderstorms caused pockets of wind damage and a confirmed EF-1 Tornado in Windsor Locks-East Windsor-Windsor, CT and a 80 MPH Microburst in Agawam, Massachusetts along with wind damage and flooding in the North Shore of Massachusetts. Some pictures have been posted to the WX1BOX Facebook Page at http://www.facebook.com/wx1box and more pictures and video will be posted there on Tuesday..
..Any additional reports and pictures from today’s severe weather event can be posted as a reply to this email or to pics@nsradio.org and credit will be given to the spotter for providing the pictures/reports which will be provided to NWS Taunton, Emergency Management and the media..
..Another round of isolated to scattered strong to severe thunderstorms and flash flooding could occur on Tuesday. A Severe Weather Coordination Message will be posted on Tuesday Morning and SKYWARN Activation with Ops at NWS Taunton are likely Tuesday. SKYWARN Self-Activation was utilized for this event due to the short fused and earlier than expected nature of the threat. Special thanks to all SKYWARN Spotters and Amateur Radio Operators for their support today..
