Storm Coordination Message #1 – Sunday Evening 2/2/25 through Monday AM 2/3/25 Accumulating Light Snow Potential

Hello to all…

..Another in a series of light accumulating snow events will affect the region Sunday Night to Monday Morning with most of the snow falling later Sunday Evening into early Monday Morning before daybreak. A general 1-3″ of snow is expected with the higher 3″ amounts across Western/Northern Massachusetts where isolated higher amounts above 3″ may occur. This will result in slick travel conditions overnight with a few slick spots possible on secondary roads during the Monday AM commute..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation will monitor for snowfall reports from this light snow event for the region. This will be the only coordination message on this snow event unless a significant change to the situation occurs and time allows for an update.
