Storm Coordination Message #1 – Convective Shower/Isolated Thunderstorm Small Hail/Graupel/Brief Strong Wind Gust Potential

Hello to all…

..Convective Showers and Isolated Thunderstorms will be capable of small hail/graupel and perhaps some brief strong wind gusts this Wednesday afternoon and evening in Southern New England as cooling temperatures aloft allow for conditions that may allow for some of this activity. The severe weather potential is low but reportable SKYWARN reporting conditions are possible this afternoon and evening in western areas through around 4 PM and in eastern areas mid-PM through 7 PM this evening..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation will monitor for any hail and strong wind gusts/isolated wind damage reports this Wednesday Afternoon and Evening with Amateur Radio call-up nets possible. Pictures of any storm damage and hail can be sent as a reply to this message, via our WX1BOX Facebook/X/Bluesky feeds or to the email address pics@nsradio.org with credit given to the spotter unless otherwise indicated. This will be the only coordination message for this event unless a significant upgrade to the situation occurs and time allows for an update.
