.,Another coastal storm system will bring another round of strong to possibly damaging winds and heavy rainfall of 1-2″ with the potential for urban and poor drainage flooding to possibly small river and stream flooding. There may also be a brief period of snow and ice at the onset in the higher elevations of northwest New England..
..A High Wind Watch is in effect for Nantucket Island from Tuesday Morning through Tuesday Afternoon for sustained winds of 25-30 MPH with gusts to 55-60 MPH. Other portions of Southeast Coastal New England may require wind advisories during the day Tuesday and there is the possibility of wind advisories later Tuesday into Wednesday Morning for other parts of Southern New England..
