Hello to all..

..Heavy Rainfall will affect portions of Northeast Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire tonight into early Sunday Morning with an increasing coastal flood threat starting with minor coastal flooding at tonight’s high tide and the potential for minor to even moderate coastal flooding at the Sunday Night and Monday Night high tides. A late season nor’easter will potentially affect the region later Sunday through Tuesday..
..A Flood Watch remains in effect from 2 PM This Afternoon through Sunday Morning for Southern New Hampshire and Essex and Middlesex Counties of Massachusetts. Total rainfall of 1.5-3 inches are likely with isolated higher amounts possible. Current weather models continue to indicate that widespread heavy rainfall of greater than 3″ will stay north of this region but it will need to be monitored closely..
..A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect for East Coastal Massachusetts from 10 PM Saturday Night to 3 AM Sunday Morning. A Coastal Flood Watch is in effect from Sunday Evening through late Sunday Night. The High Surf Advisory east and South Coastal New England has been cancelled..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation for Coastal flooding is likely Saturday and Sunday Night. SKYWARN Activation with Ops at NWS Taunton are possible tonight and Sunday if coastal flooding is widespread enough or the threat of flooding of urban areas and small streams increases overnight into Sunday Morning..

A Flood Watch remains in effect from 2 PM Saturday Afternoon through early Sunday Morning for Southern New Hampshire and Essex and Middlesex Counties of Massachusetts. Total rainfall of 1.5-3.0″ is expected which may be sufficient for urban and poor drainage flooding as well as sharp river/stream water level rises. Heavier widespread rainfall of greater than 3″ is expected over Southern Maine and models continue to indicate that this heavier rain will stay just to the north of Southern New Hampshire and Northeast Massachusetts. This will be monitored closely throughout the morning.

A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect for East Coastal Massachusetts from 10 PM Saturday Evening through 3 AM Sunday Morning. Minor coastal flooding of shore roads is likely in the advisory area across East Coastal Massachusetts due to the combination of wave action and astronomically high tides with some wind influence. A Coastal Flood Watch is in effect for Sunday Evening into late Sunday Night due to a greater risk of more widespread minor to perhaps even moderate coastal flooding across East Coastal Massachusetts. Another threat for Coastal Flooding exists Monday Evening as a late season nor’easter takes shape bringing heavy rain and strong winds along with the threat of coastal flooding into the region.

SKYWARN Self-Activation for Coastal flooding is likely Saturday and Sunday Night. SKYWARN Activation with Ops at NWS Taunton are possible tonight and Sunday if coastal flooding is widespread enough or the threat of flooding of urban areas and small streams increases overnight into Sunday Morning. Another coordination message will be issued if time allows Saturday Night otherwise the next coordination message will be issued during the day on Sunday to discuss the potential for a late season nor’easter to affect the region.
