..Storm system Saturday will bring accumulating snow to Western and Northern Central Massachusetts. Another storm system will affect portions of Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island with accumulating snow possible Sunday Afternoon and evening though uncertainty is higher than normal at this time range for that system..
..A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 1 AM Saturday Morning through 5 PM Saturday Afternoon for Franklin, Hampshire, Western Hampden and Northern Worcester Counties of Massachusetts for 2-4″ of snow with isolated higher amounts in the East Slopes of the Berkshires up to 6″ of snow. Areas closest to the Winter Weather Advisory in South-Central Massachusetts could see a coating to 2″ of snow. The snow will result in slippery road conditions..
..Accumulating snow could affect portions of Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island Sunday Afternoon and Evening but uncertainty is higher than normal in exact locations of accumulating snow in this area and how much snow will occur so future coordination messages will detail the potential here as needed..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation with Amateur Radio Nets on the 146.94-Mount Tom Repeater for snowfall reports will occur Saturday between 8 AM-5 PM. SKYWARN Self-Activation with Amateur Radio Call-Up nets are possible Sunday Afternoon/Evening. An updated coordination message on Saturday and Sunday snowfall potential will be posted by 10 AM Saturday Morning.
