Wind Coordination Message #1 – Late Monday Evening 11/3/25 to Tuesday 11/4/25 – Strong to Damaging Wind Gust Potential

Hello to all…

..Another round of strong to damaging wind gusts though not as strong as the Thursday Evening to Saturday Morning event is expected over portions of Southern New England late tonight through Tuesday Evening..
..A Wind Advisory is now in effect from 10 PM Monday Evening to 7 PM Tuesday Evening for Cape Cod and the Islands with a Wind Advisory from 4 AM Tuesday Morning to 7 PM Tuesday Evening for all of Rhode Island, Bristol, Plymouth, Norfolk, Suffolk, Middlesex, Essex and Worcester Counties of Massachusetts for sustained winds of 20-30 MPH with gusts up to 50 MPH and Isolated wind gusts possible. Areas outside of the advisory area could see wind gusts up to 40 MPH with isolated higher gusts. These winds could cause isolated to scattered pockets of tree and wire and power outages..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation will monitor the strong to damaging wind gust potential late Monday Evening to Tuesday Evening for reports of measured wind gusts 40 MPH or greater and any wind damage reports. Pictures and videos of storm damage and rain related flooding can be sent as a reply to this message via the WX1BOX Facebook/X/Bluesky feeds or to the email address pics@nsradio.org with credit given to the spotter unless otherwise indicated. This will be the only coordination message on this strong wind potential unless a significant update to the situation occurs and time allows for an update..
