..Strong to damaging wind gusts commence this Monday Evening lasting through late Tuesday Night with the highest wind gusts mid-morning to mid-afternoon Tuesday. Scattered pockets of tree and wire damage and power outages likely with the higher pockets of damage in Western and Central Massachusetts..
..A High Wind Warning is now in effect from Monday Evening through Tuesday Night for Western Franklin, Western Hampshire, Western Hampden, Northern Worcester and Northern Middlesex Counties of Massachusetts for sustained winds of 20-30 MPH and gusts up to 60 MPH. A Wind Advisory is in effect for the rest of the NWS Norton Coverage area for sustained winds of 20-30 MPH and gusts up to 50-55 MPH..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation will monitor for measured wind gusts 40 MPH or greater and wind damage reports tonight through Tuesday Night and any prior reports of icing and rain gauge totals from Sunday Evening to Monday Evening. Pictures and videos of wind damage and other storm related issues can be sent as a reply to this email, via our WX1BOX Facebook/X feeds or to the email address pics@nsradio.org with credit given to the spotter unless otherwise indicated. This will likely be the last coordination message on the strong to damaging wind potential unless a significant upgrade to the situation occurs and time allows for an update.
