..Winter Storm will bring a wintry mix of snow and ice to interior Southern New England late Friday Morning through Early Saturday Morning. More significant winter storm is possible late Sunday Night into early Tuesday AM for portions of Southern New England and will be detailed in a separate coordination message later today..
..A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through 7 AM Saturday Morning for Franklin, Northern Worcester, Middlesex and Essex Counties of Massachusetts for 3-6″ of snow with a light glaze of ice causing slippery travel..
..A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from through 7 AM Saturday Morning for Northern Connecticut, Hampshire, Hampden, Southern Worcester, Western Norfolk Counties of Massachusetts and Providence and Western Kent Counties of Rhode Island for a coating to 3″ of snow and up to 0.20″ of ice causing slippery travel..
..Areas outside of the Winter Weather Advisory area could see a Coating to 2″ of snow with a light glaze of ice possible..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation will monitor for snowfall reports late Friday Morning through Saturday Morning. Amateur Radio Nets are likely and a schedule is listed below. Pictures/videos of the storm can be sent as a reply to this message via our WX1BOX Facebook/X/Bluesky feeds or to the email address pics@nsradio.org with credit given to the spotter unless otherwise indicated. This will be the last coordination message on this storm system and the next coordination message later today will focus on the late Sunday Night to early Tuesday AM winter storm and be posted by 11 PM Friday Evening.
