Hello to all..

It is the start of the 2012 Atlantic Hurricane Season. In 2011, we received Tropical Storm Irene as a strong tropical storm so Southern New England is no stranger to tropical systems. Below is the NWS Taunton Public Information Statement announcing the start of the 2012 Atlantic Hurricane Season and announcing safety and preparedness tips and the National Hurricane Center (NHC) Tropical Weather Outlook announcing the start of the season and the products that they issue and both statements include names for the 2012 Season:
