Hello to all..
..Strong to Damaging Winds Expected in Southeast New England and possibly other parts of Eastern New England Saturday into Saturday Night..
..A Wind Advisory is in effect from 7 AM-7 PM Saturday for South Coastal Massachusetts and Rhode Island including Cape Cod and the Islands and Eastern Plymouth County Massachusetts for sustained winds of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH. These winds may cause isolated pockets of tree and wire damage and power outages in these areas. The Wind Advisories maybe expanded to additional areas of Eastern New England tomorrow morning..
..A period of snow showers have the potential to bring a dusting to 1″ of snow particularly in the higher terrain as a cold front moves through the area..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation will monitor the strong to damaging wind potential in Southeast New England for Saturday. Another coordination message will be issued by 10 AM Saturday Morning. Below is the NWS Taunton Wind Advisory Statement and Hazardous Weather Outlook..
