These winds will cause isolated to scattered pockets of tree and wire damage and power outages..
..A Wind Advisory is now in effect for Rhode Island and Essex, Southeast Middlesex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Bristol and North-Central Plymouth Counties of Massachusetts from 6 PM this evening to 7 AM Sunday for sustained winds of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH with isolated pockets of tree and wire damage and power outages are possible..

A coastal storm remains on track to move southeast of New England but close enough to cause strong to damaging winds, minor to moderate coastal flooding in East Coastal Massachusetts and heavy rainfall in Eastern New England. The rain may end as a brief period of light wet snow but the real hazards from this storm system are the strong to damaging winds, minor to pockets of moderate coastal flooding and heavy rainfall. Main storm impacts are Saturday late afternoon through Sunday Morning. The headlines denote the current storm hazards. It is noted that for western and central portions of Southern New England, the potential exists for strong winds during the day Sunday which may prompt the issuance of wind advisories in future forecasts.
