..Coastal Storm Will Graze Southeast New England with a light snowfall..
..A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 7 PM Wednesday to 7 AM Thursday for Nantucket Island for 2-4″ of snow. Cape Cod and Maratha’s Vineyard possibly into South Coastal Massachusetts could receive 1-2″ of snow with isolated 3″ amounts. Outside of this area, amounts of 1″ or less are likely..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation will monitor this light snowfall event and monitor the 6 AM Thursday Morning Cape and Islands Weather Net on the 146.955 MHz Barnstable Repeater for reports. This will likely be the only coordination message for this storm event unless a significant upgrade to the situation occurs. Below is the NWS Taunton Winter Weather Advisory Statement, Hazardous Weather Outlook and snowfall graphics..
..It is noted a much more significant storm could affect the region Saturday into early Sunday Morning. There is still considerable track and precip type uncertainties but this will bear watching as we get closer to his weekend..
