..A storm system will bring a period of rain, strong winds and potentially some minor coastal flooding/splashover to the east and south coasts of Southern New England..
..A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect from 11 AM to 4 PM Sunday Afternoon and Evening for Barnstable and Nantucket Counties of Massachusetts for minor shore road flooding at the time of high tide. A coastal flood statement for minor splashover has been posted for the remainder of East and South Coastal Southern New England for Sunday Afternoon and Evening..
..Strong wind gusts of up to 40 MPH with higher gusts are likely across East and South Coastal Massachusetts and this may cause isolated pockets of tree and power line damage and isolated power outages Sunday Night into Monday ahead of and past the cold front that is part of the storm system..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation will monitor the minor coastal flooding and strong winds this Sunday Afternoon and Evening. This is the only coordination message that will be issued for this storm event unless a significant upgrade to the situation occurs and time allows for an update.
