..A light snowstorm will impact the region Tuesday Night into Wednesday Morning. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through 7 AM Wednesday for Western Franklin and Western Hampshire Counties of Massachusetts for 3-5″ of snow. Areas outside of the advisory area will have a coating to 3″ of snow with the highest amounts in interior Massachusetts along and north of the Mass Pike..
..Snow squalls later Wednesday PM into early evening are also possible with the potential for another round of strong wind gusts of 40 MPH and higher that will be monitored..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation will monitor for snowfall reports, snow squall and reduced visibility reports, measured wind gusts 40 MPH or greater and wind damage reports. This will be the only coordination message on this event unless a significant change to the situation occurs and time allows for an update.
