..A period of icing expected overnight into Saturday Morning in portions of Southern New England..
..A Freezing Rain Advisory is in effect from 2 AM-11 AM Saturday for Northern Connecticut, Northwest Rhode Island and Essex, Middlesex, Suffolk, Western Norfolk, Worcester, Franklin, Hampden and Hampshire Counties of Massachusetts for light icing causing hazardous road conditions. A Freezing Rain Advisory is in effect from 2-7 AM Saturday for Kent and Southeast Providence Counties of Rhode island and Eastern Norfolk, Northern Bristol and North-Central Plymouth Counties of Massachusetts for light icing causing hazardous road conditions..
..Freezing rain will change to plain rain in the advisory area with plain rain outside of the advisory area. Rainfall amounts will be around 1″. This may cause nuisance flooding in any urban/poor drainage areas or if drainage areas are clogged by snow..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation will monitor storm conditions Saturday Morning into the afternoon. This will be the only coordination message unless a significant upgrade to the situation occurs.
