Storm Coordination Message #2 – Thursday 2/18/21-Friday 2/19/21 – Moderate Snowstorm Potential

..Moderate plowable snowfall expected in Southern New England Thursday into Friday..
..A Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Thursday Morning to Friday Evening for the entire NWS Boston/Norton Coverage Area except for Cape Cod and the Islands for 4-8″ of snow. The potential for any icing or changeover in any of the Winter Storm Watch area is less at this time so the Watch area is expected to receive all snow at this time. Portions or all of Cape Cod and perhaps even the islands may also no longer see a mix of precipitation depending on model trends and this will be monitored..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation with Amateur Radio Call Up Nets are likely particularly Thursday Night through Friday. Another coordination message will be posted by 1100 PM.
