Hello to all…
..A strong cold front will bring wind gusts of around 40 MPH to interior locations with wind gusts of 40-50 MPH in coastal areas and the possibility of a thunderstorm or two with an isolated strong thunderstorm or convective showers bringing stronger winds down to the surface. This event will be similar to the event we had on Monday Night of this week..
..A Wind Advisory is now in effect from 1 PM Saturday Afternoon until 5 AM Sunday Morning for Cape Cod and the Islands for 25-35 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH. This advisory could get expanded in future updates. These winds could cause isolated to scattered pockets of tree and wire damage and power outages..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation will monitor the strong to damaging wind and any severe weather potential. Another coordination message will be posted by 10 AM Saturday Morning. Below is the NWS Boston/Norton Wind Advisory Statement, Area Forecast Discussion and Wind Gust Map..
