..Strong storm system will bring Heavy Rainfall, the potential for urban and poor drainage flooding to possibly some small river and stream flooding including ice jam flooding, Strong to Damaging Winds in Southeast Coastal New England and on the back-end of the storm a possible flash freeze and icing situation..
..A Flood Watch is in effect from Friday Morning through Saturday Afternoon for the entire NWS Taunton Coverage Area for 2-4″ of rain and that potential for urban and poor drainage flooding to possibly some small river and stream flooding including ice jam flooding. The expected heavy rainfall may also have embedded thunderstorms bringing some areas of higher rainfall amounts..
..Strong to damaging winds in Southeast Coastal New England could prompt the issuance of Wind Advisories for this area for a portion of Friday into Saturday. Flash freeze and potential for icing in portions of interior Southern New England may prompt Winter Weather Advisories for portions of this area on Saturday..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation for this entire storm timeframe of Friday Morning through Saturday Afternoon is likely. Ops at NWS Taunton are possible and potentially centered around mid-afternoon Friday through late Friday Night. Another coordination message will be posted by 1130 PM Thursday Evening.
