The annual ARRL Hurricane Season Webinar will be Monday July 15th, 2013 from 8-930 PM and registration is still open. Details and Registration Information can be seen via the following link:

Representatives from WX4NHC, the Amateur Radio Station at the National Hurricane Center, Hurricane Watch Net and VoIP Hurricane Net will be giving presentations during this webinar. This webinar has been an annual event since 2011. We encourage people that live in the region to participate in this webinar.

•Opening remarks and introduction of presenters.
•Meteorological Overview of the Upcoming Season, presented by VoIP Hurricane Net Director of Operations and ARRL Eastern Massachusetts Section Emergency Coordinator and NWS Taunton SKYWARN Coordinator – Rob Macedo, KD1CY.
•Amateur Radio WX4NHC at the National Hurricane Center: Who We Are and What We Do and How to Contact WX4NHC and Submit Surface Reports During a Hurricane along with WX4NHC Weather Initiatives, presented by WX4NHC Assistant Coordinator Julio Ripoll, WD4R
•ARRL Coordination and Interface, presented by ARRL Emergency Preparedness Manager Mike Corey, KI1U
•VoIP Hurricane Net, presented by Rob Macedo, KD1CY
