Storm Coordination Message #2 – Thursday Evening 11/13/14-Friday Morning 11/14/14 Light Accumulating Snow Event
Hello to all..
..Light accumulating snowfall remains likely across much of Southern New England tonight into Friday Morning. Precipitation will start from west to east over much of Southern New England as rain changing to snow with a brief burst of heavier snow possible during the overnight in the west and near the Friday Morning commute potentially impacting the commute in eastern areas. Total snowfall of a coating-2″ is expected area wide with the potential of 2-4″ amounts over portions of Northwest Rhode Island, Central-Southern Worcester, Central Middlesex and Western Essex Counties of Massachusetts where a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through 9 AM Friday Morning..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation will monitor this event looking for snowfall reports early Friday Morning across the area. This will be the last coordination message unless a significant upgrade to the situation has occurred.
