..Additional Strong Wind Gusts likely across Western, Central and Northeastern Massachusetts Thursday Morning through early Thursday Evening after Wednesday’s round of strong to damaging winds and heavy rainfall..
..A Wind Advisory remains in effect for Western, Central and Northeast Massachusetts from Norfolk County north and west through 5 PM ET Thursday for sustained winds 15-30 MPH with gusts up to 50 MPH. Areas outside of the Wind Advisory may see wind gusts up to 40 MPH with isolated higher wind gusts. These winds will cause isolated pockets of tree and wire damage and isolated power outages..
..SKYWARN Recognition Day Update with 2-meter frequency rotation and additional information will be posted later today. In addition, another storm system with rain and strong to damaging winds is expected on Saturday and will be detailed in future coordination messages..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation will monitor the strong to damaging winds for Thursday. This will be the last coordination message on the Wednesday into Thursday storm event.
