..Snow Showers/Snow Squalls could produce briefly hazardous travel during Wednesday afternoon and early evening with a dusting to 2″ of snow in a short period of time in portions of Southern New England as an Arctic Cold Front brings dangerously cold wind chills into Southern New England with wind gusts just short of Wind Advisory criteria expected through Thursday Morning..
..A Wind Chill Warning is in effect for Franklin, Northern Worcester, Western Hampshire and Western Hampden Counties of Massachusetts from 5 PM Wednesday to 10 AM Thursday for wind chill values as low as 30 below zero..
..A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for the remainder of the NWS Taunton Coverage Area except for Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard for wind chill values as low as 24 below zero..
..A strong wind event is possible again late Thursday Night and Friday particularly in Southeast New England..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation will monitor the Snow Squall and wind threat. Another coordination message will be posted by 8 AM Wednesday Morning. Below is the NWS Taunton Wind Chill Warning/Advisory Statement and Hazardous Weather Outlook..
