Storm Coordination Message #1 – Saturday Afternoon/Evening 12/20/14 Light Snow Event

Hello to all..

..Light accumulating snowfall will affect portions of Southern New England late this Saturday afternoon through Saturday Evening across Northeast Connecticut, Rhode Island and Eastern Massachusetts north and west of the Cape Cod Canal with amounts of a coating to 2″ expected but there is a low risk of isolated higher amounts of 3-4″ over portions of the region particularly in Norfolk, Northwest Plymouth and coastal Essex Counties of Massachusetts..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation will monitor for snowfall totals for this event during the afternoon and evening. This is likely the only coordination message for this event unless a significant upgrade to the situation occurs.
