Storm Coordination Message #1 – Tuesday Evening 2/24/15-Wednesday Morning 2/25/15 Light Snowfall Event

Hello to all..

..Bitter cold overnight tonight into Tuesday Morning. A light snowfall expected for Cape Cod and the Islands Tuesday Night and Wednesday from a coastal storm that is currently expected to bring this light snowfall to the region. Trends on the storm will be monitored for any additional impacts beyond Cape Cod and the Islands for advisory level snow and a 2″ or less snowfall in Eastern New England given a trend towards a track closer to the area..
..A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect through 1000 AM Tuesday for the entire NWS Taunton Coverage area except for South Coastal Massachusetts and Rhode Island and Cape Cod and the Islands for wind chills as low as 20 below zero..
..A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Cape Cod and the Islands from 10 PM Tuesday Evening through 7 AM Wednesday for 2-4″ of snow. Outside of this area, a dusting to 2″ of snow is expected for the remainder of the area particularly Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island..
