..Moderate Snowstorm and/or Wintry Mix expected in interior Southern New England Tuesday Afternoon through Wednesday Morning with coastal areas seeing a snow to sleet to rain situation..
..A Winter Storm Watch is now in effect from Tuesday Afternoon through Wednesday Morning for Franklin, Hampshire, Hampden, Worcester and Northern Middlesex Counties of Massachusetts for 4-7 inches of snow/sleet and one-tenth to two-tenths of an inch from a wintry mix of heavy snow, sleet and freezing rain..
..A Winter Storm Watch is now in effect from Tuesday Afternoon through late Tuesday Night for Essex, Central and Southeast Middlesex, Suffolk and Norfolk Counties of Massachusetts for 4-7 inches of snow/sleet and a light glaze of ice from a wintry mix of heavy snow, sleet and a brief period of freezing rain with wind gusts as high as 35 MPH..
..Northern Connecticut, Northern Rhode Island and areas of interior Southeast Massachusetts may see snow, sleet and freezing rain with advisory level snow and ice amounts before a change to rain. Southeast coastal areas could see a quick 2-3″ of snow before it changes to rain. Southeast coastal areas will see wind gusts around 40 MPH with the potential for higher gusts in any heavy rainfall or even possible thunderstorm activity..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation will monitor the storm Tuesday Afternoon into Wednesday Morning.
