..After coastal storm hits region (follow-up post storm message to follow later this week), another intense storm which will largely be a heavy rainfall, river, stream, urban flooding, possible coastal flooding and damaging wind event on track to affect the region Tuesday Night into Wednesday..
..A Flood Watch is now in effect for the entire NWS Norton coverage area except for Cape Cod and the Islands for Tuesday Evening through Wednesday Afternoon due to heavy rainfall of 2-3″ with isolated higher amounts combined with snow melt can result in river, stream and urban flooding..
..A High Wind Watch is now in effect from Tuesday Evening through Wednesday Afternoon for Rhode Island, Cape Cod and the Islands, Essex, Southeast Middlesex, Norfolk, Suffolk, Bristol and Plymouth Counties of Massachusetts for sustained winds of 30-40 MPH with gusts to 60 MPH..
..Additional wind and coastal watches/advisories are possible in future updates..
..SKYWARN Self-Activation is likely with Amateur Radio Call-Up Nets possible for this storm system Tuesday Night into Wednesday. Pictures and videos of storm damage and flooding from this storm as well as for the past coastal storm or prior storm events can be sent as a reply to this email, via the WX1BOX Facebook and Twitter feeds and via the email address pics@nsradio.org and another more complete coordination message will be posted by 11 PM Monday Evening.
